Zhu Gongshan, GCL-Poly Chairman, was Elected Chairman of Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association
(29 October 2013, Singapore) GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited (“GCL-Poly”, the “Group”, stock code: 3800.HK) is pleased to announce that the chairman of the board of directors of the company, Mr. Zhu Gongshan, was elected as the chairman of the second session of joint chairman in the fifth general meeting of the first session of Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) in Singapore.
Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association, established in November 2011 in Singapore, is a leading academic, authoritative and service-oriented regional industrial organization for the Asian photovoltaic industry. It consists of more than 800 member companies in Asia. Its active role in the industry has grown stronger over time, promoting a global integration of the photovoltaic industry together with the European Photovoltaic Industry Association (EPIA) and Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) etc., which creates an excellent intra-industry environment for the development of global solar energy industry. GCL-Poly, being an executive director company of the first Presidium of Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association, has been making continuous efforts for promoting steady development of the association.
